The following is the proposed programme of concerts over the coming years. Actual content may be subject to change or additions and all concerts will be advertised as individual items in due course. All dates are Saturdays (except Sage concert)
Original proposal – June 15th 2013 (see below)
Madrigals by Byrd and Tallis, Berstein – Chichester Psalms, and a work by Copeland.
Plans are now well in hand to replace this June concert with one to take place on Sunday 7th July 2013, in the Sage, Gateshead. In association with Orchestra North East (ONE) and Ryton Choral Society, Bishopwearmouth Choral Society will be performing Carmina Burana by Carl Orff.

Purcell – Dido and Aeneas, Macmillan – Who are these angels?

Handel – Messiah (Christmas pieces only), Chilcott – Christmas pieces, Rutter – Brother Hendrick’s Christmas.
March 28th 2015
Parry – I was glad & Blest Pair of Sirens, Elgar – Music Makers.
June 20th 2015
Sondheim – Side by Side.
